wittygee asked: I have been out of work for a while and became unable to pay on a credit card debt. It has been about 90 days since my last payment and I just got a letter from a law firm stating they will be pursuing collecting the debt. I am still out of work and have no means to pay. What can I expect from this process?

Brandon R asked: I recently had my car repossesed while in between jobs, and now owe about $4,000 remaining on my loan. How long typically do these type of repossesions stay on someones credit report and how it will effect me in the future. Also what steps can I take to fix and or aleviate the negative status of having a repossesion?

Pehsha P asked: I am looking for a personal loan, but my credit is not good. I don’t want a payday loan but that is all I find on the internet when I type in personal loans for people with bad credit. Do you know any lender who will give loans to people with bad credit? I don’t really care to much about the interest rate. I just would like the loan to pay off some stuff and get some new things I need around my house. But I don’t own a home, so I can get a home loan.

axr asked: Hi, I am a non-us resident with an H-1B, with no debt right now making 60K a year renting an apartment with a 93 toyota car. I am able to save $1500 a month. I would like to apply for a personal loan of about $25000 to repay a loan I took back in my country where is interest rate is extremely high and I am wondering what you guys think about my chances.
Question two would be is there any not-for-protfit agencies that can help me with choosing the best loan. PReferably it is not online.
Third question is can I get a car loan and then not buy a car and use it for other purposes?
Thanks

meggiecakess asked: I’m 19 years old, I go to school, I’m a waitress at Applebees, I have my own credit card which I pay on time, and I would like to take out a personal loan so I can do some work on my car. It needs a bunch of new parts. I also need to get a few things for it. The loan wouldn’t be more then $2,500 to $3,000. What’s the easiest way to take out a loan where I will most likely get approved?

pham1skee asked: Those debt relief agencies that help you get rid of debt fast tell you to stop paying your bills and instead you pay them. They then use the money you send them to negotiate lower payoffs to your lenders. What are the pros and cons of doing this and how long will it effect my credit score for? Any experience is extrememly welcomed!

jediaxo asked: I have a debt collector that keeps calling me and using different local cell phone numbers. Even though I keep telling them that the debt is paid off and I have my cancelled check that I keep faxing to them over and over and over again, they won’t stop calling me. How is it that they can use other people’s cell phone numbers? And is there a chance they use mine to call people?
