Jarielw asked: I know someone who has been hiding a car for 2 years. Is that illegal? She doesn’t drive it. She says she is just thinking she will someday be able to pay it and keep it. I think she’s living in a fantasy land. But I’m worried she could get in trouble with the law.
Answers with documentation links would be appreciated.

Queenbee06 asked: I would like to finance a car, but 13 months ago I had a repossession. My credit is also poor. Does anyone have any advice about how to go about trying to get a car loan in my situation?

dolbabi22 asked: I had bought a car in 2005 and had it voluntarily repossessed in 2006 after a divorce and no job. I heard through the grape-vine that if i didn’t settle the old account that if i bought another vehicle it’s possible they can repossess my new car to settle the debt on my credit at any time. Is this true? Rhode Island, resident.
They as in Creditors! And the car i’m buying will be paid for no more loans. I will be paying taxes on it evey year but that’s it.

sraj26 asked: My girlfriend is behind on her car loan and has been threatened with repossession. To make matters worse, she had an accident (her fault) the same day her insurance lapsed and did $3000 damage to the car. She cannot afford to repair the car or make payments anymore so she is going to give up the car for voluntary repossession. My question is: When the car is sold and the deficency amount is calculated, will making a small payment each month keep them from pursuing a judgement against her?

green eyes asked: My husband recently had an accident, his not working. Were not able to pay the car anymore. The lender told us, if we do a voluntary reposession on the vehicle that they will sell it on an auction and depends what the price they sell the car and the rest I will need to pay. I could sell the car to they told me I called some places and they told me that it depends on what the car it’s worth and the rest I need to pay. So I just wanted some advise. Thanks a lot.
