I can’t play TimeShift on my ps3 for some odd reason can something tell me how to fix that?

I put it in and it says the video output setting is not what it needs to be my friend says he had the same issue but he never found out why he couldn’t play so I figure there’s something I have to do to play can some one help me find out what that is?
