		<description>If he lets them grow back, a few weeks. I&#039;ve had pluckers before, and they&#039;re very sensitive to the slightest changes. There is a slight possibility that he might not let them grow back. I haven&#039;t heard about that in parakeets though, so don&#039;t worry to much about it. But just keep in mind that you need to make sure that the parakeet goes through a limited amount of drastic changes. My green cheek is quite attached to me, and if I leave for too long or can&#039;t hold her for a few days due to illness, she will start to pluck her chest.</description>
